i have often wished for a loud internal alarm to sound when i have had too much of the parenting role and really need a break. i tend to go that little bit longer than i should, end up a cranky butt and teach my children that it's ok to sound off on someone just because you are in a bad mood. then apologize for it, but do it again.
the 'sorry' is all well and good, but actions speak louder than words.
