i am finally putting together this shoe cabinet thing. it's melamine coated, but i sanded it down so that i will be able to prime it and then paint it -black. i am rather excited because in our small house, organization is key and at last there will be a place to put shoes and boots out of the bloody way.
i've also put two coats of blue paint on the walls in my entrance room..which is a tiny room at 4' by 4'. but i wanted a punch of color and blue definitely compliments the yellow in the kitchen. i've got to paint the back of the door yet and add another coat of paint, but it's coming along very nicely and i just can't wait to see the finished room!
hockey season starts monday the 15th..oh yay.
